Why should that look better? I assume you will have them white on the inside – who wants to draw attention to their window handles? Normally, you don’t want them to be visible in the window frame ;)

Of course, I can only speak for myself in this regard, but I find that modern plastic windows are not recognizable as such at first (quick) glance. However, if I look a bit closer, there is hardly anything that screams "I am the cheap version" more clearly than a white plastic handle, precisely because no one would use something like that on any other window.

If you install a different handle (e.g. stainless steel), the illusion also remains on the second glance and only a close inspection reveals the truth.

So why not focus on a well-made deception? It works with lipstick too :-D

Hm I don't have to fool anyone, I'm not ashamed of plastic windows. I would have taken white handles too, but the man just wanted stainless steel. I can live with that, looks good.

I have nothing against plastic windows and don’t need to cover them with stainless steel. The comparison with the lipstick is flawed. I see more of a pale face here, which lets a self-drawn beauty mark stand out. The user finds it beautiful, everyone else thinks it’s ugly and just stares at this dark spot that really doesn’t fit there :D
