So I probably have to choose between "cleaning intensity" and "visual appeal," with the latter probably prevailing. I just don’t like it when you look out from an angle inside and you see the white frames inside and the black seals and dark aluminum frames outside. In terms of price, the difference between wood/aluminum with just a glaze and fully painted is about 3%. However, this makes no difference for us, since only glazed and thus wood-look is out of the question for us, but only fully painted (regardless of whether white or black-brown) comes into consideration. We have also already found a venetian blind manufacturer who paints RAL 8022 without extra charge (Eurosun). Garage doors cost about 500 euros extra, so that’s also manageable.
The alternatives to RAL 8022 that come into consideration for us would be RAL 7016 (but everyone already has that and it is a bit too "bluish" for us) and RAL 7021 black gray (which is a bit too cold and technical compared to black-brown).
