I cannot follow you in the slightest. By the tape you probably mean compression tape, that much I still understand. I googled Purenit, but what the hell is a larch base, where is it supposed to go, and why does it prevent the screed from leaking (where to), and which concrete bases is a floor slab supposed to have and why, and how do you flame them off? I calculate your wall construction at 162 mm total, who builds like that? Seven thousand euros is not little money for a front door, rather a lot, I did not read which material here (?), I would have expected a professional company and not some flimsy wishy-washy, but clear verifiable installation instructions. Nowadays, standard-compliant window installation seems almost a rarity to me, foaming is done very generously everywhere and gladly as an alleged proper substitute for correct measuring and precise installation. On the one hand, you write that you have too much time to constantly hang around the construction site – on the other hand, you let the botchers get away with it until everything is installed in such a way that correcting it would cause more damage than anything else. What is your mother tongue, if I may ask?

Dear 11 ant,

my native language is German. I have nothing to do with house construction. I have tried to read up on the whole topic as best as I can. If you are more involved with house construction, you will surely know that everything is really very extensive. Yes, I am a layman and have trusted acquaintances who have worked for a long time exactly in these areas, so no bunglers but old-fashioned people.

If you do not know why a wooden house is built on a concrete base, what such a thing looks like exactly, what Purenit is, I assume that you are not familiar with this area either. Thank you for your reply.

I would appreciate constructive tips and no accusations - let he who is without fault cast the first stone! I do not know any construction site that is free of errors. I am simply trying to find a way now to have these defects corrected.

Do you want to achieve a KFW standard? Then there could be problems with the Blower-Door test. It has already been advised to consult an expert. Maybe they can help clarify things with the window manufacturer.

Please forgive me, I am not familiar with a "KfW standard." I searched on Google and came across Passive House articles. We do not want a Passive House.
