Hi,
does "by chance" any of you have an idea how high (above the shower tray floor) a parapet must be at minimum if the window is directly at the shower (Fe-bench approx. 12 cm)? And does the window have to be made of special glass (due to risk of falling through, uh, risk of falling [why does my keyboard suggest 'sturzbetrunken' (totally drunk on a fall)???])?
In my childhood we had to put extra bars in front of the shower window (outside) so that a possible faller would get stuck in the shards and not plummet 5m onto the asphalt...
If it matters: it’s about Hamburg, and an old building (but the regulations are the same, right?).
Thanks,
b.
