Yes, I know that the bigger problem is finding someone who properly installs the windows... but I already have that. And he left it up to me to buy the windows myself.

So it’s purely about ordering/delivering about 15 plastic windows and 3 lift-and-slide doors for a single-family house.

But of course I can also say here: You can make lift-and-slide doors out of plastic, as long as we're talking about total widths of 250 to 350; for wider ones it's better to take aluminum and for narrower ones better to leave lift-and-slide doors alone.
