Hey. There are so many topics with so many different types of flooring. I would really like to know which ones you use for which areas, and how you deal with them. By that I mean, for example: living rooms (living room, office, bedrooms), kitchen, bathroom.

Because I am currently thinking about which flooring we will get when we eventually buy or build a house. I would really be interested.

Best regards :) Abelwagn

Seriously? In our current apartment (old farmhouse) we have old wooden floorboards in the dining room (painted blue :D), tiles in the kitchen, bathroom, and hallway. In the children's rooms and the bedroom, there is oak parquet. If we ever build, my dream would be dark tiles in the bathroom, kitchen, and hallway, as well as parquet in all other rooms. Preferably rough-sawn floorboards, but I think they are too thick for underfloor heating...

Parquet, tiles, and cork.

But first plan your house, make a cost plan, etc. Everything else will follow once you know how much money is left. If you want underfloor heating, you cannot choose just any flooring and so on.

Neutral tiles, so that the rest of the room design can come into its own. This aspect should perhaps not be completely overlooked either. ;)

Hi,

so we currently have tiled the entire ground floor. Also the living room. If you have underfloor heating, there are no cold feet either. Parquet is a matter of taste. After a few years, you can see the wear and tear. Although it also depends on who walks over it (we have a dog and 2 children). In the new house, there will also be tiles in the bedroom. These, however, in wood look. Maybe also an alternative?
