Building standard. Use windows with RegelAir. Google that. For each floor, one Helios exhaust motor, preferably in the bathroom or utility room. No mold, good air quality, affordable, and still efficient when heating. Efficient enough anyway. - Remember: your house will get older. Everything works new, but as it ages, the good British motto "simple, rugged, reliable" is worth its weight in gold. Karsten

11ant, if I were a construction professional, I wouldn’t try to get information here!

I admit, I have seen better functioning forum searches than here - but the question of whether the brick XY as GTI 16V is really still the absolute best cannot be overlooked here as supposedly still too rare to be answered. And for the fundamental answers to this, the rule basically is: Same Procedure as every Week

If it's only about saving heating costs, it's not worth it; you probably won't experience a return on investment at €5000 anymore. Before mold comes discomfort, headaches, fatigue. I would not do without a controlled residential ventilation system. If you don't want to spend that much money, then at least the solution from nordlys.

Yes, but you can also live in these bricks and houses without controlled residential ventilation like so many people before us..... I think it is a comfort thing.... it is a myth that you get mold in a brick house without one.... Better insulation value, well, but what about, for example, noise? Have you ever looked at that?

Can someone please advise me, if I place more importance on noise protection than on thermal insulation, which stone should I use when building a house? Probably filled brick, right? Maybe there are other building materials suitable for this? Which one is cheaper? Thanks in advance!
