Hello,

we are considering which shower shelf is sensible for Shamboo and such in the new build.

A shower niche is not possible (that would come at the expense of the shower area and then the shower would be too small for us)

These shower baskets keep falling off ://

What alternatives are there in the new build that also last permanently and look appealing??

It should be something that is definitely durable and resistant and can also hold a few KG

The complete range of bathroom accessory/furniture manufacturers is open to you. "Duschkörbe" are not only available for a cheap price from the coffee roaster, they are also available in a decent quality.

There are tons of high-quality attachments, from closed to open, rounded, square, matte or glossy in chrome, coated plastic or wire… matching the style of the fittings or so. For gluing, doweling or hanging. There are also standing ones. However, as already mentioned: from 80 upwards, you probably have to lie down.

I would still question why that shouldn't be possible. If necessary, just take matters into your own hands...

It doesn't matter. The shelves are not a must and definitely have some disadvantages. Among other things, see above. Other things have their advantages. There are stylish "alternatives" that also ensure the bathroom doesn't only consist of angular surfaces. For example, you can hang a wash ball, a handle brush, or other necessary items on an appropriately mounted shampoo holder, which doesn't work with niches. If you choose the right piece, cleaning with the dishwasher works :) So why do what is currently mainstream?
