Which shelf in the shower in the new building

We had no shelf in our bathroom in the old house. I tied shampoos and shower gels to a nice ribbon and hung it from the ceiling. That way it was accessible and out of the way. Change the ribbon from time to time.

Cutting a hole somewhere now, boxing it out and then plastering it again for a 10-12 cm deep niche can’t be a problem, right? Or how thick is the wall at your place?

I have to be honest: if I had drywall in the shower, then I would know that. What I mean by that is: there are also shell constructions where that is out of the question. There are solid walls and that’s that.
Especially when you’re building only about 130 sqm or so – then there is rarely space for that.

We also had it done like that by the tiler in the children's apartments.
