Same here. Nothing splashes. Both with the Subway 2.0 and the Subway 2.0 compact. But, be sure to choose CeramicPlus. The extra cost is worth it.

Our sanitation expert told us that CeramicPlus is not necessary. He rarely sells it and after a few years there is no trace of it left on the objects. The question now is whether you can actually feel any difference from this CeramicPlus.

Best regards

Yes, you can definitely tell when it is coated with Ceramic Plus. The water beads off like from a freshly polished car. So dirt has no chance to settle.

It's precisely those few years that make the difference.

Ultimately, this thread isn't any help. Opinions differ; one person has it, another doesn't. And supposed professionals are quoted who also have an opinion.
So the only option left is to try it out or decide based on price.

hello everyone,

I can recommend the Subway 2.0 rimfree with Ceramic+.

We had the Subway 2.0 (without rimfree) twice for 5 years in our previous apartment and we were not satisfied with it. On a large online retailer (A...zon . de) you can find some reviews that reflect our experience.

The rimfree is somehow different. As described above, we are very satisfied with it. We only use neutral cleaner to clean it - that is supposed to be better for the Ceramic+. Before, we always used regular toilet cleaner. It might have damaged the Ceramic+ (in the previous apartment). The coating was definitely not as noticeable as on our new rimfree Subway.

I know the Icon from acquaintances. It seems "cheaper" to me and sometimes water splashes out of it.

It was actually clear that we did not want another Subway but in the end we decided on it because we did not like the Icon due to our experiences. No other toilet would have been an option because of the price or the look.
