I did not mean the artificial river, but the sewage channel under the street. For such a "long" property, the "valley side" street can easily be half a meter below the "mountain side" street without this difference in height being particularly noticeable as a gradient. This height difference would also apply to the "backwater levels" of the two sewage channels, which can make the difference between having and not having a sewage lifting station. Therefore, this is also one of the arguments at the edge whether to connect the house to the West street or the East street (although this does not have to be the same for sewage and driveway). Mind you, this is only one aspect among several, not very significant, and only relevant for the location within No. 6 – less so for the consideration of No. 6 or No. 3.

Thank you very much for this tip! We will of course make sure to get informed about this! These seem to be additional costs that should definitely be included in the buffer.

Not necessarily. Only if you position the house close to the "valley side end," and the municipality says, no, with this house number please connect to the "mountain street," then you would have to consider this aspect. And I mention this mainly because very slight slopes, which are hardly noticeable, tend to be underestimated. But note, not in a dramatic way. So all good, just take it as a minor, perhaps irrelevant piece of information. From a top-down plan, everything always looks so "flat" (and sometimes it is).

Hello everyone.

Yesterday we had a conversation with the responsible municipal employee and we reserved plot number 6.

We are allowed to access the plot from the east or west. However, he could not tell me where the connections are located. I would go there today to take a look at the whole thing.

We would place the house on the east side and would thus have a nice undeveloped west garden where we could enjoy the afternoon sun.

We do not yet know how the height differences will be noticeable.

Unfortunately, I can no longer edit my post.

But just now the information came in that the water shafts are located on the east side. So exactly where the house is supposed to be built. PERFECT!
