Well, he is here to get information after all. However, there was already a suggestion to deal a bit more with this topic. You should understand your system.

Otherwise, I can recommend the 24V spots from Voltus. They are very easy to dim and provide very nice light. You can find a lot of information about this in the KNX forum. Also about this topic in general. However, quite expensive.

However, you do need to know how your MyGekko handles the lighting at all. I don’t know the system. Depending on that, you will then have to decide the rest.

Steffen80,

What does operating a smart home system, into which one is instructed, have to do with the question about LED spots and their technical characteristics? Nothing, and therefore your answer is as superfluous as being familiar with KNX!

Unfortunately, I do not know the technical specifications for MyGekko and thought that maybe there is someone here who knows them

Your question is simply - let's say - "invalid" and requires a minimum of basic understanding. You also can't get a driver's license if you don't know that a car needs 4 wheels and that they have to be round. Knowing how to open a car door is also useful when "learning to drive." Your question cannot be answered because the question itself doesn't work.

Then do not respond like that but at least ask a counter-question, also about which information is missing so that I can provide it.

Hello everyone,

to calm things down a bit. On the one hand, Steffen is of course right. If you don’t get more detailed information, you cannot give a targeted answer. And when you asked again, you answered with "I don’t care."

So let's start with the basics. To give you an answer to your question, you need to know how you switch. MyGekko itself is a 'central system' with interfaces to bus systems like KNX, Dali, etc. The important thing now is to know what kind of actuators you have, what kind of sensors you have. Only then can you say what you need to control your lights.

And as I understood MyGekko (it is basically just a nice BUS visualization server with some I/O and D/A), you now need to know how your house is wired. For example, if the cables are laid in a star shape in the distribution board, then you can put Dali or KNX drivers + 24 power supply in the switch cabinet. And NYM to the switches will certainly not work because then you couldn’t control your 'beautiful smart home.' So bring more information and above all get at least an overview, otherwise you really won’t get any further.

Thank you for the explanation. That already helps. I am not doing anything electrical or electronic to the system. I receive my "ordered" ceiling outlets and only wire from there. To buy the right spots, I just asked what needs to be considered. As I understood MyGekko, a ring circuit is laid per floor, so an NYM cable goes from the switch to the ceiling outlet, right? Is it still only 24 V then?
