Which home providers for OWL?

We basically wanted to hear whether people here in OWL have experience with Town & Country, preferably also, as you mentioned, Heinz von Heiden, or else Favorithaus, Viebrockhaus and Gussek Haus.

Of the mentioned ones, we only visited Viebrockhaus, based on a recommendation from friends. My conclusion: very expensive, little individual design options with the consultant we had. We looked at countless floor plans and couldn’t shake the feeling that they were just waiting for us to say: "We like this, we'll do it that way." It simply didn’t convince me at that price (100,000 € for a basement as an example).

This is provider-independent with many sales "consultants" in that they are construction novices and like to "cling" to the catalog.

You are probably right about that. I see it exactly the same way. But if a local provider (whether it's an architect, [BU] or [GU] or something else) is cheaper or comparable, then at least I have the feeling of being better off there.

Why "but"? - we agree on that. Which local provider has convinced you then?

"But" was not directed at you but meant in general. I understand the impulse to tend towards a "larger company," I had it too. For me, I can say that I was wrong.
