Now that the e-subsidy is being increased, it’s even more interesting. But you have to familiarize yourself with the fast-charging system of the desired vehicle beforehand. Because it’s no use if 50,000 new charging stations come that are all Type 2, while the e-Golf or i3 have a CCS plug and you then can’t fast charge. Also, in winter, the e-Golf only manages about 120 km at best with economical driving (so slowly at 90 km/h, but with the interior warm), and even less in the rain.The e-Golf is currently on clearance sale for under €20,000. A comparable combustion engine vehicle costs over €30,000 in terms of equipment. I find that quite interesting, even though that's of course not a regular price.
