Which dishwasher?

Good evening!!! On Thursday it finally happened and I bought my Ikea kitchen, but without appliances.

Now I am considering a dishwasher, the cheap LAGAN or the somewhat more expensive Rengöra???

What are the advantages/disadvantages of both? Apart from the price difference?? I hope this is not a stupid question, unfortunately I don’t know enough about it and I haven’t found where to compare the appliances.

Hello, if financially no more is possible, the RENGÖRA. At 47 dB it is loud, but not as jackhammer loud as the LAGAN at 52 dB. It also has 3 years longer warranty.

our Rengöra dishwasher broke down after exactly 8 months, i.e. it was leaking water from the internal overflows. Rengöra is Elektro-Lux, the service came after about 2 weeks and replaced a few parts. The problem is a serial defect and also known at Ikea, but they do not say anything about it at first. Whether the error still exists, I do not know; our repair was in Sep2015.

Before, we had a Siemens for 16 years, and compared to the Rengöra, I miss the old one. The new one does not dry properly, i.e. the bottom layer gets wet again if you want to unload the top first. The tiny lights in the door can only be guessed through a small gap between the countertop and the front, whether the machine is finished or just on a pause.

Just so there is no disappointment after purchasing another device: weak drying performance is unfortunately widespread nowadays. It is not without reason that the Rengöra manual also states that the bottom basket should be emptied first... As for the end of the cycle: the lights are not intended to be seen through the front gap ... for the end of the program there is the acoustic signal (of course, you have to be nearby) or built-in appliances with a visible control panel (or, for example, a light point projected onto the floor). Similarly sparse operating indicators are unfortunately found in almost all affordable fully integrated appliances (even Miele). Regards, IKEA-Fan
