So option 3 is out of the question, it will be a very dark room...

Option 3 also doesn't work in my opinion: simply placing the bulky sauna in the room ruins it. I like 1 the most, but it can definitely be improved :)

I would summarize topics: sauna to shower, washbasin to bathtub. Maybe switch shower with bathtub in V2 sometime. Does the sauna have to be that big? Exactly these dimensions? It takes up quite a bit of space... better to provide a niche for it. What does such a W-shaft look like? Just a sealed channel? I would probably also leave out the window opposite the door...

Ok, opinions really differ here! Thanks for your opinions and suggestions. The sauna with 150x200cm is already the smaller version. It just might seem very large. In any case, the sauna will have a full glass front so as not to take away from the room's size. The tub and shower have already been swapped in version two. However, we were not completely happy with the positioning of the tub and toilet. We have that in our current terraced house, and it’s not exactly nice to be at head height with the toilet lid. There are nicer things ;) The laundry chute is built from masonry about 30x30cm or 40x40cm and goes from the attic through the bathroom to the ground floor. Like a chimney, so to speak. Of course, with a flap for dropping laundry. The advantage of version 2 would be the space in front of the sink/toilet — those are the most heavily used items, then the shower. We didn’t actually want a freestanding bathtub. I imagine that after a children’s bath it would be a bit exhausting to dry everything again ;) plus we thought the space would be too tight. Would anyone have an idea how this could possibly be implemented? Or would anyone have another idea? We keep shuffling back and forth ;) Regards milkie

Then V1 is probably off the table as well, since you would have to clean the shower partition after bathing too ;) Or else a closed walk-in shower...

I shuffled things back and forth... You are of course immensely restricted by the sauna, laundry chute, and oversized shower. Maybe V2 after all (because others are rather worse), but it would have to be checked whether the toilet can be moved a few linear meters that easily (somehow everything has to drain well – you can’t plan meter-long distances with the drainage, but should plan the toilet where the stack goes down) There are also corner saunas, maybe that would be an option???

I find it more pleasant with the sauna - nevertheless, the rest would need to be refined. But I'm going to bed now :)
