Where do you buy your carpets? Is it possible online as well?

Stupid question: do you buy the rug so large that the sofa is also on it, or do you just place the rug in front of the sofa? Because in the latter case, it would be much cheaper and the selection larger. But does it still look good then?

But it depends on the furnishing: if you have the sofa against the wall or in a corner, you can disguise it. We did that: but the rug is a bit longer than the sofa. Only half pushed under in the front.

If you have a freestanding sofa, a rug that only lies in front looks puny... so you might as well skip it as decoration.
