Going there and working towards the ceiling has always worked for me so far... I have many lights on my phone from restaurants and hotels
You should, however, distinguish between hotel and home
In every bigger city, there is usually a large lamp store that has a lot on display. Also design in every category. Take a look there. Since your profile says nothing about the location, no one can help you in that respect.
Oh, then I really should have taken a photo of it and not thought it looked stupid to take a picture right in the middle of it. Next time I will just take a photo.
Maybe you even have some nice lights you want to show us? Then I can get a little inspiration right away.
Yes, I will look around for such lamp stores. I would actually prefer it to be something a bit more "selective" (not some XXL-Swede ), where everyone wants to buy the same LED light.
I would just keep my eyes open. Keep looking out in trendy restaurants, also just walk into the lobby of design hotels sometimes, maybe buy some design magazines or possibly browse some awards in the design field.
Maybe there is something in there that suits your taste. If you see something, ask right away, even if you don’t find the same lights, the stores can then show you lights that go in the same direction.
What is meant by “playing with light” is not entirely clear to me. It ranges from app control of the lighting to “on and off switches” like with Holy Trinity Lights. In my opinion, though, you can also play with light if you just press a switch. Play means for me in this context not necessarily always having to change a setting.
Yes, I will. On vacation you are just more alert and those little gems quickly catch my eye. Here everything often has to go quickly and you hardly have time to look left and right and stroll leisurely through alleys. I should probably bring a bit of vacation feeling home, too.
Well, by playing I meant more that you can also change the light a bit – not just turn it up and down, but that you can adjust the angle of incidence, the brightness, etc. Everyone probably has their own idea about that. But thanks again for the tips!
