When did you install the front door?

Yes, that works. But why? First of all, it becomes fiddly with the insulation strip, and then you end up with two different screeds... We once forgot a towel radiator; they had to break up the screed, put in the pipes, and then put quick screed on top. There was simply no other way.

But without reason? You can tape off the door if you're worried. At our place and all the neighbors, the front doors were installed right away, and nothing happened during the construction. The craftsmen don't get up in the morning thinking, "Which front door shall I break today..."

At our place, the frame etc. was installed, a sealing rubber on the door sill and the door frame was put in.
On the morning of the handover, the correct door was installed.

Beforehand, I wouldn’t have felt so comfortable because then every craftsman would have had a key for my door or the lock would have had to be changed again.

And I admit, I was glad, interior plastering and filling is really quite dirty.

Decouples the dependency between the screed and the front door. The tile setter closes the gap before tiling the entrance area. It's not much of a hassle either. And you constantly have different screeds anyway. Nowadays, anhydrite is usually used as a heated screed, but you definitely don't want that under the tiled shower and actually not elsewhere in the bathroom either.
