Okay, thank you very much! That reassures me a bit. We will probably just have to let it come down to it. I didn’t sign anything with the first intermediary and won’t sign anything with the second. I will also simply ask the second one how he knows which bank offers us which conditions. Oh man, on days like today I curse the whole topic of house building! But fortunately, there are so many nice people here who help.

Quark, go to the smaller one as well. I have experienced the following with new and follow-up financing: for new financing, the smaller one was much better, also had partners who apparently avoid the big ones, in the second round the big one was better positioned.

The conditions remained the same, although we were also with Broker 2.

No idea why Broker 1 acts like that. In my opinion, it does not speak well of him.

That's exactly how it is. What Hans says about Hänschen says more about Hans than about Hänschen. As soon as a salesperson starts talking to me about the competition, I ask him exactly once: "What do you do better than others?" If he then talks again about what others do worse, he is not an option for me as a supplier or service provider. I do not work with amateurs. It's as simple as that.

Rather take one step further and talk to all the local banks. If the banks want, they can give you better conditions than their standard ones that the intermediaries have in the system. An example: My bank representative quickly discussed my desired conditions with the board, and no intermediary could keep up.
