We actually only have 80x80 and manage with that (and I'm not an elf^^). However, this is due to the fact that we have a small bathroom and really wanted a bathtub. Personally, I think with showers that beyond a certain size there is simply no added value, I would then prefer space for more cabinets or a laundry basket, etc. The decision between 90x120 and 120x120 I would depend on the remaining free space.

Generous shower area with space for 2 and seating proves excellent in approximately 12 sqm bathroom. Therefore, no bathtub and instead a privately located and rain-protected Softub in the garden with great view.

The bathroom is 10.7m2 large. That is big, but not absolutely huge. I would probably take the 120x90 shower then. Do you have small children? That was the reason for us not to do without a bathtub. If later, when the children have moved out, we renovate the bathroom again, we will probably do without the tub and prefer a bigger shower and then enjoy more free space. In your case, the bathroom will be nice and big anyway.

120x120 without door without glass simply left open works perfectly. The bathroom is not large 250x250 but it is enough for us.

But then you don’t have a bathtub, I assume. We are now at 100cm x 120cm including glass partition.

We were now near Szczecin at the specialist dealer. I have to say they have a much better assortment there than Elements, where we were before. The price-performance ratio is also significantly better. And what annoyed me the most at Elements was that there were no prices on the items. The saleswoman thought that if we are building, our budget is unlimited. Solutions we would have liked, like a faucet in the bathtub, cost over €2000. In Poland the simpler but equally good solution costs €500.

We will now plan and buy the two bathrooms in Poland.
