What financial framework is possible for the planned house construction?

Lol, that’s quite an attitude. Studying for 5 years and she’s just supposed to do something else.

I would recommend you save up three years of equity and then buy.
Those few years don’t matter and your wife will also have the job she wanted.

I never said that she should do anything else. For example, with her training, she can also start working at other education providers or as a research assistant at the university. Just as an example. It doesn't mean that if she doesn't do the ref, her studies were for nothing.

Hello!

You can still buy a plot of land for 7K€ if you know where/when the Ref takes place.

However, I also can't imagine a demolition for 5K€.

Due to the absolutely crazy land price, I would honestly ask myself where the catch is with this plot!? If the owner were to invest the supposed 5K€ for the demolition himself, he would already be in the profit zone at a selling price of ~11-12K€ for a building-ready plot of land.

Either it is in an absolutely catastrophic location or there really is a (costly) catch...

Best regards

The standard land value for this place is 9€ per sqm. Yes, these places still exist. I grew up in this place and we want to return there. In neighboring municipalities, sometimes 1€ per sqm is charged to get people back into the villages. And this said plot of land is one of the last available in this place. The property that needs to be demolished is only a temporary structure. It has 60 sqm and only the ground floor. It is basically a slightly larger garage.

Hi,

if I have the choice between being a civil servant and then university or educational institutions with endless fixed-term contracts and meager pay, it's hard for me to give advice....

Otherwise, the financing is fine
