Hello everyone,
in the energy saving certificate for our Kfw70 house it says that our attic is "18cm concrete intermediate ceiling insulation20".

What does Däm20 mean??? What kind of insulation needs to be used here?

regards

Hello,

The creator of the verification should be able to provide information here. The complete layer structure is usually included in the verification. If necessary, check the heating load calculation; this component must also appear there.

Best regards.

Hi,

The "manufacturer" refuses to provide us with any information. Therefore, I have to take over these tasks.

I thought there are certain products / designations, like with insulation wool.

Otherwise, I would have used 10cm Styrofoam panels...

Hello, I did not mean the manufacturer but the creator of the proof. The layer structure must be precisely defined there! What does the heating load calculation say? Something is fishy!
Best regards

Hi,

if by Hersteller you mean your home builder, then I would stay away from it. Why else would he be so stingy with information?

Regards

I got it:

18 cm concrete intermediate ceiling insulation 20 74.66 m² U-value = 0.115 W/m²K
Material -- Density -- Thickness -- l -- R -- Diff. - Resist.
Air passage warm side RSi 0.10

1 Cement screed --> 2000.0 --> 30.00 --> 1.400 0.021 15 / 35
2 Vapor barrier PE film --> 1100.0 --> 0.30 --> 0.200 0.002 100000
3 Phenolic resin rigid foam 020 --> 40.0 --> 200.00 --> 0.024 8.333 10 / 50
4 Normal concrete DIN 1045 --> 2500.0 -- > 200.00 --> 2.100 0.095 70 / 150
5 Lime cement plaster --> 1800.0 --> 15.00 --> 0.870 0.017 15 / 35

I have underlined the "thickness."
Does this mean that a 20 cm phenolic resin rigid foam board must be installed?
