Hello Yvonne,
Rhenish greetings
You would be surprised how many providers change it if they risk losing the contract :cool:Payment plans are part of the contract for work. No contractor will change anything about that. Either you accept it as is or you don't. You can try to change one or the other payment, e.g. the final payment.
I hope your trust is not disappointed! We have a terrible payment plan, 9 installments, of which we have already paid 8... the last installment equals the value of the finished garage, which is also included in the cost breakdown. So now we have paid for the house, but we are only about two weeks away from the screed laying... Trust is everything!
No, it is the commercial register. On the other hand, the house banks are very cooperative and will gladly request a credit report at their customer's request; which I would advise all potential builders to do! The bank will not hand over the extract – they are not allowed to do so for data protection reasons. However, they will always provide their customer with an important decision-making aid.Somewhere on the web there is a registry from which you can learn something about the company. Maybe it’s the Bundesanzeiger. Just google, use the search function and have someone who can read the numbers ;)
Rhenish greetings
