What do you think of carpets? Completely out of style?

Hello dear ones,
I am planning to lay carpet flooring in my daughter's children's room... Is that a good idea or should I maybe reconsider the whole thing??

Hello Lolli, I can definitely give you some good advice. I am myself a proud mother of a 2-year-old daughter. Back then, I had a carpet laid in her room. I can tell you that this is not such a good idea, because as a child you already make quite a few stains, and you don’t get them out of the carpet that quickly again. That is really a disadvantage.

I can only recommend a carpet to you. I have never really had to deal with stains, and if there were any, I somehow managed to get them out again... My children can play really well on a carpet because it is nice and soft and very easy to care for... Vacuuming once a day is usually enough, and a bit of dust doesn't really show...

I would be interested to know how old your children are...??

My youngest is 3 and my oldest 6....

Ok my daughter is also only 5, so she would also be at this age... But she has mild allergies to house dust.. Is it still possible if I vacuum every day??
