Yes and no. As already mentioned, we have no maintenance or replacement costs.

And the (mandatory) contract (when purchasing the property) is only valid for 10 years. After that, everyone is free to switch to a heat pump or geothermal or whatever else.

And. 0€ for maintenance, repair and servicing, upkeep and, if necessary, renewal.

But that is generously calculated. Don’t forget subsidies. And the heating engineer is already in the house for the underfloor heating anyway. I assume that the heat pump will be quite a bit cheaper than the district heating option.

I don't think so, but this contract is not what this is about anyway.

Hello TitusPullo,

we are also soon building an "Ökosiedlung" in Kassel and the "Öko" combined heat and power plant with a great V8 engine is practically right on the doorstep.
Which system did you decide on? An LLWP is not allowed to be installed out there.
Some people don’t know this and will soon have to convert their heating system.

Many builders have chosen geothermal drilling and have already drilled successfully - however, the maximum drilling depth is limited to 45 meters.
The basic price for district heating is 1700 euros/year only for the first 10 years, after that the price will certainly increase.

Hello Schlauerfuchs,

we have now chosen the air-to-water heat pump, it is one device and is located in the utility room, we were also not allowed to set anything up outside. Whether it was worth it will have to be seen, I spoke with an energy consultant and the construction manager themselves and both said I would stay well below the costs of the local heating with the pump. It simply bothered me a lot to be so dependent on a single provider, otherwise it is basically a pretty good thing, low acquisition costs and requires little space.
