A single-family house is always luxury that also brings more work than an apartment. If you want a garden, no neighbors above/below you... then you are a candidate for a house. You have a comfortable financial situation. If it feels "good" for you then go for it. Otherwise, leave it. How big is your current apartment? What do you miss? Garage for the vehicle?...

I am a professor of music in Luxembourg, come from the Bitburg area and received my basic musical education as a child in Ettelbrück, hence my username :) That's where it all began. After my studies, I lived hand to mouth as a freelance musician and then suddenly got the famous call. Then everything happened very quickly. Luckily, my niche is so specific that I became a big fish in no time through my prominent position. I feel quite secure in the saddle, in any case, I am not dismissible. I can only be transferred.

Our current apartment is simply cramped. Small rooms, tiny windows, dark and drafty, unrenovated old building. It has 69 sqm.

Use your comfortable situation and plan your house according to your needs. Just don’t start redesigning a city villa for 4 people.
