Hello everyone,

I am new here in the forum, as we are currently planning a single-family house. Our favorite is actually Weberhaus and we have already had the first meeting there, which we really liked. The selection of materials also looks very good.

However, we would like to have a look at an equipment protocol of a turnkey house, which the sales consultant could not show us, which we can also understand in terms of data protection. For us, this would be very important before we want to take the next steps.

We have gathered experiences from many acquaintances and heard statements like: "If only we had been able to see an equipment protocol beforehand, we would have done some things differently from the start." Unfortunately, none of our acquaintances have built with Weberhaus so far, so we have no chance to look at such a protocol in full. Additionally, we have been able to view equipment protocols from other companies our acquaintances had, which were sometimes very vague and not really detailed or structured. Sometimes, even after reading, you don’t know if “Item A” is included or not. Hence the question here in a public forum.

We are well aware that every equipment protocol is individual and cannot be compared one-to-one, but for us it is primarily about how one looks at Weberhaus at all, how extensive it is, how detailed everything is described, and also to gather some ideas for each trade to potentially include a few things right away during the offer phase.

Is there an equipment protocol of a turnkey single-family house from Weberhaus here? Of course without name, address, etc. that’s not what it’s about after all. Just all the items/trades with possible additional costs as well. That would be great.

Regards Thommy

If we knew you "better," we could also assess whether you are even at the right address with this (or any other) "prefabricated" house builder.

This will not differ significantly whether the company name is X or Y – at least within the same brand target group (so with Weberhaus not significantly different, for example, than with Bien-Zenker or Schwörerhaus). And even with other manufacturers, as a layperson you will only get very limited understanding from it. Please turn to the known experts (for example Beuler, Freyermuth or Zink, see via the forum search in my posts).

What is that? Is the construction service description meant?

I know the term at most when purchasing a used property. It then states what the house has, i.e. the actual condition, possibly with floor plans and room details.
A house that has not yet been built does not have any equipment yet.

A protocol can only be created when there is something to record. If one is simply interested in a home builder, there is nothing yet to record.

I am currently building with Weberhaus and have just signed my equipment protocol ("Leistungsbeschreibung"). It includes the extras that are not part of the standard. For example, a fireplace, special interior doors, special bathroom tiles, parquet flooring, ventilation with cooling function, and so on... But ultimately, it contains exactly what you selected during the sampling, from the door handle to the roof tile to the towel holder. For me, that's a total of 40 pages for around 60,000€ in additional costs. Well, you have to treat yourself sometimes.
