Partly sold, partly stored for later use as a roof for the wood storage.

Completely demolished by ourselves because there was no other way.
We did not want to gut and rebuild.

During the demolition, we also realized that it was the best decision.
Ceilings too low, walls crooked, worms or moisture in the timber frame, etc....

What also comes to mind - maybe keeping old wallpaper remnants and using them as decorative elements or really thinking about how to incorporate the old bricks in the garden? Or see old windows and tables more as decorative elements, place a nice picture behind them or a large printed photo of the old house?

Yes, the idea with the photo is also a good one. We plan to do that as well. Before and after pictures. As well as aerial photos.

Depends on what the house offers. We couldn’t completely remove a single tile or wallpaper. We also have an outbuilding, where we could use the windows, for example.
