No, the water streak is on the side that is slanted. I only noticed it today. Could it be that the roof was damaged by the storm? Best regards and thanks Sebastian

I suspect that the water was pushed onto/over the sheet metal by the strong wind in the last two days, collected at the weld seams/transitions, and then ran down the house wall. Therefore, I would keep an eye on it over the next few days (rain is still forecast). If it persists, I would contact the GÜ/roofer.

Hello Jochen, You are absolutely right, there are two weld seams exactly there. The problem is, the low-pitched roof was covered with gravel + soil, and then greened. The soil is uneven. When I looked at the pictures from half a year ago, the wet marks were already there. Presumably, a slightly light rain could cause something like that. If the roof were damaged because of this, would a residential building insurance pay for it? Many thanks and regards Sebastian

Unfortunately, I don't quite understand that. Is it always wet, or only during this heavy rain? It depends on your insurance. If storm damages are covered, then you have a good chance. If not, then unfortunately not.

I meant, it must have happened several times before. Now I am much more reassured. Thank you.

So it really shouldn't happen multiple times.
