4 bar at the entrance w is quite decent... I would look for the problem elsewhere...

Well, not that the fittings blow up at 5 bar^^ are there maximum values? Is pressure linear? So 4 bar = twice as much pressure as 2 bar?

Apart from the filter - where else can there be limitations here?

Yes, pressure is linear. 1 bar = 10m water column.

If you want to know exactly, the fittings surely have an approval of how much they can withstand. The same should also apply to hot water preparation.

At 5 bar, I personally wouldn’t worry. We once had 7 bar... even the gentle shower is a scalp massage then.

Thanks for the information! So far, I've only found info about Grohe that above 5 bar a pressure reducer must be installed due to noise nuisance.

I'll test it - thanks for the help!

A maximum of 6 bar can be set on the filter, but it stops at 5 bar, it will not show more on the display. With one consumer, the pressure then drops to ~3.8 bar during use. Phew, that is extremely disappointing...

Then the problem could be in the pipe leading to the house or another shut-off valve before the filter is not properly opened.
