At first, it is the same pressure. The hot water just takes a detour through the hot water storage tank etc., where flow losses occur, so hot water usually has less pressure at the outlet. In my opinion, however, the fault is before the filter, as I already wrote.

Hm... are you building where you used to live? Or do you get the same water from the same waterworks?

Maybe it’s also the combination of lower water pressure and significantly softer water than before?

I find that interesting. With the hot water, we have a noticeably higher pressure than with the cold water. Could that be related to the water tank and the circulation pump?

Well, before the filter there is only the pipe that goes from the wall to the outside. You mean simply too little pressure from the supplier?

The water is indeed significantly softer because of the water softener (which unfortunately does not show any pressure). I judge this based on "how long it takes to rinse out the shampoo."

We are about 10 km away from the previous location – unfortunately, I don’t know where the water comes from.

There you go, well, at least part of the answer.

With more lime, you bind significantly more shampoo and soap at the same water pressure and the same amount of water. You should actually notice that when washing your hands too. You now need less soap than before or it takes longer to rinse the soap off again.

Oh, I was not aware of that at all. Thanks for the info! But the lime content shouldn't change the shower experience, right?
