Due to the primary energy requirements, gas condensing boilers are hardly feasible without a solar thermal system, unless compensatory measures according to §7 EEWG or exemptions according to §25 Energy Saving Ordinance or §9 EEWG are utilized. The planning scope for a water heat pump is more extensive than for a gas condensing boiler. If criteria such as water quantity, quality, and demand are improperly checked, supply security cannot be guaranteed in the short term, but possibly also in the long term. This then makes an economic calculation impossible.
