Washing machine drain hose thinking error?

Hi guys,

I need your help and I’m already getting desperate. I don’t know if I’m just too stupid, but I can’t get my washing machine connected. It’s a Renlig built-in washing machine and the kitchen was planned by Ikea.

The washing machine is placed on the far right against the wall. To the left of it is the sink. The water supply hose is just long enough. I took two pictures. The first one is to show how the hose runs. From the right upper back side once down to the floor towards the sink cabinet. From there then upwards. The second picture shows the connections. I can never get the drain hose onto the siphon.

Am I too stupid or does the hose have to run differently? Do I need an extension?

I do not know the drain hose of the RENNLIG, but normally drain hoses are longer than in the picture. Have you checked if the hose is jammed anywhere? If necessary, pull the machine out again and measure if the hose is really that short. Ideally, someone pulls the hose out of the cabinet while the washing machine is pushed into the niche.

If I understand the instructions correctly, you only have 90cm of hose length from the left edge of the washing machine. You might possibly need to run the hose through the side wall of the sink cabinet instead of underneath.

Right, since the hose comes out of the machine at the top, it becomes too short at the bottom. I was thinking about the dishwasher.
