Warranty expiration in times of Corona?

Good day. The process of the 5-year warranty according to [VOB] is an important date, especially for owners. The developer rarely participates actively in this. Therefore, I would be interested to know how this important topic is handled in times of Corona. An expert appointment is currently difficult to get. Sending documentation of your own defects to the developer is possible, but obtaining a statement from the developer is also currently difficult. How can one protect oneself in these times to report defects in a timely and legally correct manner before the warranty period expires? Are there currently extended transition periods? Or is it sufficient to simply send documented defects (without an expert) to the developer in writing during the warranty period? Setting a deadline is difficult in this case. Many thanks!

Hi,
I would first notify the defect - in writing by registered mail.
Then the deadline should remain granted, details can be dealt with by an expert afterwards.
