This is roughly what it looks like without upper cabinets.

I would, if possible, not hang any wall cabinets there. On the right, you take the light away from the window, and only one on the left looks crappy. What would fit well, because close to the stove, are not very deep open shelves as well as railing rods for hanging cooking spoons, etc., spices, pot holders, pans, lids, etc.
That way, you would always have these readily at hand.

Here is a picture showing what it looks like with cabinets: I don’t see the lighting as quite as critical. Attached is also the floor plan. At the top of the plan, there is a significantly larger window. I think most of the light will come into the room through that, and of course, it is not covered. Underneath the cabinets, there will of course be countertop lighting. I found this one here. Seems quite new. I would like to see it in person: Förbättra Work lighting, LED, opal white Above the middle one, where the exhaust is located, there would then still have to be a small box to cover the pipe leading outside.

On the apartment layout, the sink is around the corner on the right, so there are certainly water and drainage connections there. Then your plan won't work. Do you really want to break a hole in the wall for the exhaust? I don't know if it's property. Even then, I would think twice about it. As a tenant, you don't stand a chance...

Is there no dishwasher?
For the flat screen hood, there is a mounting kit for a 90 cm wide wall cabinet. Have you checked if it also works with 80 cm width?
It would also be possible to use a 60 cm wide cabinet under the cooktop and a 60 cm cabinet next to the sink instead of a 40 cm one. Then the extractor hood can go into a 60 cm wall cabinet.

Water connections and drainage are still to be installed. A hole in the wall or not would basically be irrelevant for the planning of the hood, because it is always available in ducted & recirculating versions. But at the moment: Yes - it is property & yes I want a hole in the wall (but drilling and not chiseling), so that I don't have humidity from cooking & odors in the room (living room/kitchen is one room). The cost for the hole is, after the second, then unnecessary, replacement of the activated carbon filters, relatively offset. The sink is opposite the kitchen unit in one of 4 tall cabinets. A 60 cm cabinet for the cooktop could be problematic because it is an 80 cm cooktop. I have seen that the wall cabinet does not fit the built-in dimensions for the extractor. My idea was simply to put a 100 mm square wooden beam inside the cabinet on the left and right and thus reduce the inside of the cabinet to 60 cm. The bracket for the extractor can then be mounted on this. I would put a board and a spice rack in front of the extractor.
