Hello, :)
we would like to install a walk-in shower in our bathroom (we are building new) (whether tiled or with a shower tray is not yet decided). Now we have heard that the screed of the entire upper floor must be made thicker to accommodate the drain pipes including the siphon. Is that correct? It sounds logical to me, I’m just surprised that I haven’t heard or read anything about it before, and I am therefore wondering if it is true? On the other hand, I also doubt it, because that would mean that everyone who is renovating their already existing bathroom cannot install walk-in showers?
Looking forward to your answers.
Best regards
Tatze
