Volume at glass terrace roofing

we would like to install a glass canopy (3x5m) over our terrace in a multi-family house. The owners above us are now concerned that it could become very loud in their bedroom above during rain. Has anyone ever measured the rain noise level in the room above a canopy? Or can someone provide me with sources where I can read about this?
I cannot find any dB information anywhere on the internet and do not know what to tell my neighbors about this.

Information about the sound pressure level wouldn't help you at all. For example, what would you do with the information that our glass roof (incline 12.7°), measured at a distance of one meter during a heavy rain shower (1.35 mm water column/hour) is exactly 42 dB.
