Ventilation system in the warm summer

I don't know what kind of weather you had there, but 23° in the evening in summer in the attic is really a dream.

Every ventilation system should have a bypass function. Check the user manual to see if it has a summer and a winter mode, mine does, but switches automatically. If it has different modes but does NOT switch automatically, that could be the reason.

The bypass mode with summer day detection is included. However, this should then be adjusted accordingly for summer and winter, as this setting depends on the outside temperature. I have now simply changed it from 23°C to 18°C, so that at cooler temperatures the air is introduced directly without a heat exchanger. Let's see if it helps a bit.

We specifically had a concrete ceiling installed instead of a wooden beam ceiling. It blocks out a lot... However, I also have no reference to other houses. But yes... 23 degrees is probably still relatively good.

The concrete ceiling only shields against what comes from above. People generate heat and warmth rises upwards. Bedrooms in the attic only with air conditioning, even if it is just through a bivalent heat pump.
