Hello everyone,
unfortunately, our developer has filed for insolvency, so the house was not handed over ready to move in. I have various holes/gaps on the walls and floors that I still need to fill. However, I am an absolute beginner in this regard. I would appreciate any feedback on the individual pictures.
Picture 1: Irregularities in the area of the baseboard. Do you sand them down and fill the holes? Which product do you use here? Can smaller irregularities be left as is, since they are behind the baseboard?
Picture 2: Floor-to-ceiling windows: Can the black foil be filled with putty and then the floor laid? Is the corner extended with filler? Which product is used here?
Picture 3: Gap under the window. Do you simply fill the gap? Which product can be used?
Picture 4: Holes in the floor. Can you simply lay the floor over them, or should they be filled? With which product?
Picture 5: Gaps. Which product would you use here at the transition between floor/wall and on the wall itself?
Which tools can you recommend to me?
Thank you very much. Alex
