What exactly does one have to specify there? It is supposed to be based on "Ausstattung" as well. Does an inspector then come by and look at the floor coverings, furnishings, equipment etc. to determine this "value"? If not, can one just specify anything, and do they have to believe it?!?

I received the form today.
Living area, plot size, construction costs, single-family house/semi-detached house/terraced house, solid construction/timber frame/prefabricated house, number of apartments, type of heating, number of bathrooms/shower/toilets, specially equipped rooms, other used rooms, car parking spaces, type of garage

I am curious where we will end up!

The forms are always designed for all conceivable types of houses, including multi-family houses. But the EW will be overturned. However, I still have to find out what that means. Will all the notices then become invalid and no one will pay anything until there are new calculations and new laws? That would be great: years without property tax. Although the overturning of the EW is unlikely to bring only joy. Those who have purchased property in Hamburg today pay significantly too little according to the EW method and will certainly pay more. In Süderbrarup, one is certainly paying too much now. We have a property tax B multiplier of 500, our plot is 523 m², we pay 202 € property tax.

The rest you can figure out yourself.

Valuation based on farmland price from 1935 something around ~ 3 Reichsmark, although I would question the value. In this respect, a reform of the property tax is indeed justified.

If the Constitutional Court decides that the property tax is unconstitutional, one could simply refuse to pay it immediately, right? I find the property tax unfair anyway. I buy the land and someone else wants to regularly collect rent from me for it? Why is that?
