Underfloor heating leaking? Is moisture rising up the wall?

Hello everyone,

for about half a year now, we have noticed in the basement area that cracks of a kind are forming in the wall at the lower part of the basement floor. At first, we thought they were settlement cracks, but we are gradually starting to think it might possibly be moisture. Has anyone seen this before? The only thing we think it could be is the underfloor heating. Or do you think it could be caused by the dryer or washing machine in the adjacent room?

Definitely looks like water damage but what caused it the crystal ball doesn’t reveal to me. But if you don’t have to refill any water in the underfloor heating then I rather guess it’s the washing machine

Does the underfloor heating lose water? There are only about +/- 100L in total and even if 1L is missing, nothing works anymore. It looks more like rising damp. Possibly defective horizontal waterproofing.

Is it only on the wall by the washing machine or somewhere else as well?

At the moment only on the wall and it is slowly forming on all 4 walls in front of the [Hauswirtschaftsraum]. Inside the room itself, everything is dry.

That looks like something else, if the pressure in the heating system does not drop, it could also be a leaking water pipe or moisture from outside
