You will definitely notice the temperature difference if you stand barefoot in front of the window, the floor there is ice cold. We have no heating coils exactly under the kitchen island and you could clearly feel (before the kitchen was installed) where the heating coils end.

Edge zones at windows should be a maximum of 15 cm; if 2 heating circuits are planned, then only 10 cm.
