Hello Theodorius, as already written many times - floorboards in combination with underfloor heating are not a good combination from a technical point of view. If you care about a good indoor climate, then consider using floorboards, clay plaster, and a masonry heater. Opinions may differ - I would not want to have underfloor heating in the living area again - especially not if the floor is already "warm".

If good indoor climate is a priority: hallway yes, underfloor heating no. Instead, a masonry heater. Recommendation for walls: clay plaster.

And for underfloor heating in raised floors, there are ready-made systems as says. For example, Thermolutz System Econom-Flex.

I'll jump in here.... Does anyone know an alternative provider to Thermolutz for underfloor heating that lies between the joists?
