Hello everyone,
sorry for only getting back now. Somehow I missed that there are new responses here. To be honest, I don’t know if the ceilings are plastered here and how thick the plaster is. On the walls it is about 20 mm. At the moment, the cable duct solution is preferred. The solution from One00 also looks quite good.

We had the same problem... This is what our solution looks like... We threaded the cable to the 2nd lamp through a thin aluminum tube.

Find that quite nice too. Is the aluminum tube hanging in the air? What kind of lamps are those?

The lamps are already old, taken from the hardware store about 15 years ago. They used to hang separately... but at some point it was too dark for us at the dining table and we hung both lamps one after the other. The aluminum tube "floats" about 3 cm below the ceiling and fits into the lamp sockets (those aluminum things where the cables are "hidden"). For that, we each drilled a hole in the aluminum base of the lamps. Best regards, Steffi.
