It was a good documentary, but much is exaggerated. The guy with the wall in the WC. Yes OK, whoever put a stone too far was then corrected. Probably during the construction it was drama times 10. I felt sorry for the people with the half-finished house. I found the statement by the lawyer that legal disputes in construction can drag on for years alarming. So David versus Goliath. Always nice to find a solution

It is meant to raise awareness.
Look at the construction site
Check
Do not approve anything you do not understand

I also found it shocking that a legal dispute can drag on for years

well, you are up against professionals. They know that the customer initially "threatens" with a lawyer. They probably don't care about that at all. And a contractor also has a good lawyer and the financial means. The customer is eventually done... financially and emotionally... especially these tight finances. You are forced to make sure everything fits

One must not forget that since everyone (generally speaking) complains about the general contractor and the trades, almost everything is counter-signed by the builder themselves and also has to be checked by them. Turnkey delivery does not protect against stupidity.

Undisputed Now honestly, how many builders take care and inform themselves? The few here? The Spiegel article with the thesis about the kitchen gets more attention than the house. There is some truth to that

normal people invest more money in which phone has the nicest biggest display and read 8 hours of Amazon reviews, when building everything is simply generalized
