Trash bins or not? "Hide" or not? Photos?

I would basically find that okay too. The development plan also mentions "waste containers" that must not be visible. But after an email to the building authority, the response was that the metal boxes are also not supposed to be visible. Our city planners interpret their own development plans however they want…

We have a 3-bin trash box standing sideways in the carport. Not visible and big enough so that the yellow bag also fits inside. Mother-in-law keeps her bins in the shed. In the neighborhood, there are either trash bin boxes or the cheeky presentation of the unloved bins directly at the street.

.

Unfortunately, I have to fully agree with the second sentence, but the post is not that old:

I was not concerned with the why, but rather, like Yvonne, with the whether it is allowed :) I have more the (subjective and certainly not representative) impression that the garbage cans stand out mainly because the front "garden" nowadays is mostly designed in a rather clinical way. With us, there are plants and bushes, and I think the average pedestrian doesn’t really see anything there. When everything is paved over, the bins, of course, stand out more.

We solved it this way. Fits the house.

The solution probably costs more than my entire front yard combined :D It’s pretty! We have neighbors who have something similar. And on top, you can even plant something
