Transparent chimney with low power

I want to install a see-through fireplace / tunnel fireplace as a room divider. Not water-bearing but room air-independent. The common models that I can find and have been reported to me all have a power output greater than 10kW. This is clearly too much for the house I am planning. Does anyone have experience in this area or can name a stove type that has a heating output less than 7kW... Thank you Maccus

Such designs are rarely efficient unless there are additional heating surfaces. Maybe check with OVI.

You will hardly get into this area based on my experience. You can have this stove built more as a basic stove with a long draft in order to retain as much storage mass as possible. Thus, you still have the heat output, but this release occurs with a time delay. There are also water-carrying measures for basic stoves, which are not energetically very sensible, but at least function as an "active stove cooling" and push the heat amount not needed in the living area into a storage. The additional effort on the heating system side is in the range of 1-2k - depending on whether a storage is necessary at all, maybe a bit more, and about 1-2k for the water plates. If interested, inquiry via PN, I still vaguely remember the manufacturer.
