Hello,
I would like to build a wooden tool shed on my parking space and am wondering whether I need to set point foundations or if it is sufficient to anchor it to my paving stones. I know that no one can give me permission here, but I am interested in your opinion.
In terms of construction, I am planning something similar to a carport, but it will have a clad wooden facade on three of the four sides. Similar to this picture, but somewhat smaller:

My planned size: 2.40m x 3.40m x approx. 2.50m
I found the following thread here in the forum, where it depends on the weight and wind susceptibility:
My parking spot is actually quite windy because it is elevated, but in my opinion, the tool shed will be quite heavy, which is why I am unsure.
I had actually already decided on point foundations, but the paving stones that are not at the edge are currently hard for me to remove (probably I just need a simple tip). In addition, I feel that when I dig out the compacted gravel and the crushed stone in a hole, I am more likely loosening the entire area rather than firming it up.
Paving stones: 20cm x 20cm x 8cm
underneath approx. 8 cm fine gravel
underneath at least 30cm coarse crushed stone, probably significantly more
Do you think it is sufficient to anchor the posts in post shoes on the paving stones? That would save me a lot of work.
