Tilt-and-slide or lift-and-slide door for balcony?

I first had to take a close look at what a PSK actually is - in my circle of acquaintances, there are only tilt-and-turn or sliding doors. The description reads in such a way that I get an impression of "neither one thing nor the other"...

The main advantage would be the lower threshold, but the question is whether that is worth €2,500.

to my knowledge, the lower threshold is also available with normal doors and I also think with a PSK.

But it costs a few euros extra.

I agree... it's just a bit trickier because of water.

That's true - but since our terrace drops by almost two meters on three sides and we also have drainage between the window sill and the terrace slabs, I am not worried about it.
